Vice Admiral exhorts cadets to join armed forces

Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala Commandant Vice Admiral Ajit Kumar P has exhorted the cadets to set worthy as well as higher goals in life and work for the country.

“One should carry out the responsibilities sincerely. Moving with a focus and a commitment to excel in all spheres of life is pertinent,” he said. The Vice Admiral was speaking at the investiture  function of Kodagu Sainik School here on Saturday. 

He further motivated the cadets to take up a career in armed forces as no other career offers  honour of a selfless service. He lauded the important role played by Sainik Schools which are imparting education with a prime vision to develop overall personality of the cadets.  

On arrival, the chief guest was escorted by a cavalcade commanded by cadet Khemanna and accorded guard of honour by the cadets led by parade captain Ishwar. Vice Admiral presented  the mast of Naval Training ship Tarangini to the School Principal Capt M T Ramesh.  

He then conferred the rank badges to the meritorious cadets. Cadet Vinay Kumar administered an oath to the cadets. School Head Master Wg Cdr Khan, Registrar Lt Cdr KP Ajesh spoke at the occasion.
