Bengaluru: The guided tour of Vidhana Soudha began on Sunday, with 102 of the 120 registered tourists taking part.
Totally, four slots of 30 members each (2 for English and 2 for Kannada) were booked.
The tour covers significant places in Vidhana Soudha, such as the place where the foundation stone for the building was laid by the first prime minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru, statues of Mahatma Gandhi, B R Ambedkar, Kengal Hanumanthaiah (architect of the Vidhana Soudha), the Halls of the Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council and the grand steps of the Vidhana Soudha.
