Virajpet Tahsildar Yogananda said that the general public can visit him at his office if the officials of the revenue department fail to respond to the issues such as Pauthi Khata.
He was speaking at the general meeting of Virajpet Taluk Panchayat, presided over by Taluk Panchayat president Bollachanda Smitha Prakash, at Samarthya Soudha, on Friday.
Regarding the Pauthi Khata, 200 applications for transfer of the khata from the account of the deceased to the legal inheritor, are being verified. The transfer of khata will be completed in 28 days, he said.
He assured that the remaining applications will be considered later.
Taluk Panchayat members urged for the distribution of the tarpaulins supplied by the agricultural department, as per the demand.
An official from the women and child development department said that in case of delay in the procurement of rice to be distributed to the anganwadis, other lentils will be provided through anganwadi workers.
As Virajpet CDPO Seethalakshmi has not attended for the past two meetings, the projects worth Rs 7 lakh were not considered for the approval, during the meeting.
Virajpet Taluk Panchayat vice president Nellira Chalan Kumar said that there are allegations on Seethalakshmi of supplying food for only nine months in a year.
Member Maletira Prashant alleged that the plastic pipes supplied to the farmers by the agriculture department is of poor quality and is breaking.
The department should not provide poor quality items to the farmers. Stern measures should be taken against the concerned officials, he added.
