Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada MP Capt Brijesh Chowta said on Saturday, "The NDA alliance has once again achieved a victory in the Bihar Assembly elections, a result that will further strengthen the BJP. At the same time, the voters of Bihar have taught a fitting lesson to Congress leaders who made false allegations of “vote theft".
Reacting to the NDA’s majority win — with the BJP as a key constituent — and its return to power in Bihar, the MP said the mandate given by the people reflects their approval of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance model for a developed India.
The Congress and Mahagathbandhan parties repeatedly indulged in baseless propaganda about “vote theft” to create distrust among the people about the entire election system. However, the aware and discerning voters of Bihar completely rejected such regressive politics and routed the Mahagathbandhan. This result is a warning to Congress leaders who spread lies, he added.
The Bihar election outcome will play a decisive role in the country’s political landscape, and it is evident that the Congress will continue to lose ground in the days ahead, he stated.
“This unprecedented victory in Bihar is not limited to the state’s politics alone. It will further strengthen the BJP’s organisational base across the country. It will also have a positive impact on all forthcoming elections for the BJP,”he added.
