Tumakuru: Cooperation Minister K N Rajanna, who stirred up hornet’s nest with his September revolution and multiple power centres in the state government remarks, on Saturday said,  “AICC state in-charge Randeep Singh Surjewala is coming to state on June 30. Why should he take exception to my remarks," Rajanna, a senior Congress MLA from Madhugiri, sought to know.

When asked whether the Congress high command has asked the party leaders in the state not to make unwarranted remarks in public, Rajanna told reporters here, “Surjewala will hold talks with the party leaders in the state. Why will he summon and reprimand me?”

Replying to a query on whether Siddaramaiah would be removed from his post, Rajanna, perceived as a close aide of Siddaramaiah, said, “It (change of leadership) is left to the high command. Let them make D K Shivakumar the prime minister or the chief minister, I don’t have any objection. The party leadership will take a call on replacing Shivakumar as KPCC president. I think Satish Jarkiholi will be appointed as the Congress head in the state.”
