Minister for Municipal Administration Ramesh Jarkiholi said he would go by any decision taken by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on budget presentation.

Speaking to the media here on Monday, Jarkiholi said he was not opposed to the CM presenting the budget. However, Kumaraswamy must not curtail funds allocated to projects by the previous Siddaramaiah-led Congress government.

On a query over dissent among the coalition partners; particularly among CM and Siddaramaiah, Jarkiholi said they were merely expressing their opinions.

"Let CM Kumaraswamy take any decision. We will stand by it; including waiving farm loans" Jarkiholi said.

He said that naming a district in-charge minister for Belagavi would be made soon by the chief minister, adding that he was not keen as he was the former district in-charge minister.
