The complainant in the case, Snehamayi Krishna, had stated that there is no clarity in the final report submitted by the Lokayukta police.

He has filed objections to the closure report filed by the Lokayukta police in the case against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, his wife Parvathy BM, and others.

Krishna also filed an additional protest petition with a list of witnesses to be recorded.

He stated that while in one of the columns in the final report stated that there are no incriminating material against accused numbers 1-4, another column specified that there was loss to the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) with respect to the allotment of compensatory sites under the 50:50 ratio. This includes the allotment of sites to Siddaramaiah’s wife and others by the then MUDA Commissioner DB Natesh and his predecessors, he stated.

The complaint pertains to the controversial allotment of alternate sites by MUDA in favour of Siddaramaiah’s wife.

In his complaint before the special court for cases involving MPs/MLAs, Krishna named Siddaramaiah, Parvathy, her brother Mallikarjuna Swamy, who had gifted her the land that was allegedly acquired by MUDA, Devaraju, the original owner of the land, and others.

The matter has been adjourned to March 24.
