An 85-year-old woman died due to bee sting at Doddappanahalli in Kadur taluk.
The deceased is Marulamma. The bees attacked her while working in a field.
She was rushed to hospital in Kadur, from where she was shifted to Shivamogga, where she succumbed to the injuries.
