The commission wrote to the Censor Board in response to a complaint filed by Usha Mohan, state secretary of Aam Aadmi Party, about the alleged “obscene scenes in the trailer being extremely harmful to the social well-being of women and children”, according to a press statement released by the commission.

“The (film's) scenes have been released in public without any age limit or warning, and are degrading to the dignity of women and an insult to Kannada’s cultural world. Appropriate action should be taken to cancel this teaser and remove it from online platforms,” the commission has urged the Censor Board.
