Writer fasting for separate Chikkodi district takes ill

Writer and activist S Y Anji who took up the serial fast demanding the creation of Chikkodi as a separate district, took ill on Sunday.

Anji was taken to the district hospital and treated there.  

The fight for a separate Chikkodi district has entered its 21st day and the serial fast, the sixth day.
