Yash’s parents exchange words with residents over land issue

Heated arguments between the residents of Thimlapura village, Dudda hobli, Hassan taluk, and actor Yash’s parents, over leaving space for a walkway on the farmland, has been reported in the taluk on Tuesday.

According to sources, actor Yash has purchased 70 acres of land near Thimlapura village. Yash’s parents Arun Kumar and Pushpa were overseeing works for the walkway carried out with the help of excavators, when the villlagers opposed and stopped it. This resulted in heated arguments among the Yash’s parents, fans and the villagers and fisticuffs ensued.

Dudda police visited the spot and brought the situation under control. Yash visited the station in the evening and the police held talks between the two groups.

Ramesh, a resident of the village, claimed that they have spared land for the walkway at three places, but they demanded one more. However, Yash’s supporters claimed that according to the plan, there should be one more walkway.
