"I am ready to provide all documents to opposition party leaders on the issue and also on those involved in it so we can have a comprehensive discussion", he told reporters here.

Yeddyurappa sought their cooperation to arrive at a "unanimous" decision to end illegal mining and also urged them to call on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to press for a total ban on iron ore exports.

The Chief Minister has been attacking opposition Congress and JDS,alleging that leaders of these parties are into illegal mining and exports, triggering protests from leaders of those parties.

His charge against JDS that relatives of former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy are into illegal iron ore export has drawn criticism from Kumaraswamy, his father, former Prime minister H D Devegowda and his brother H D Revanna, MLA.

Both father and son have dared Yeddyurappa to take action against their family members if the government had evidence. Yeddyurappa denied making any offensive remarks against Governor H R Bhardwaj on the Lokayukta report over illegal mining.

"I have written a detailed letter to the Governor. Media reports are responsible for the controversy", he said.
