Applicants should have participated in ‘Makkala Vijnana Goshti’, ‘Pratibha Karanji’, ‘Science Play’, National Children’s Science Congress, science exhibition, quiz, conducted by the Department of State Education Research and Training, Department of Public Instruction, Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka Rajya Vijnana Parishat and the National Talent Search Examination in the last three academic years (2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12).
