A 20-year-old youth was electrocuted after coming in contact with a live wire while moping floor in the canteen of District Wenlock hospital on Monday.
The youth was identified as Aneesh B Suvarna, son of Bhagawan, a resident of Kotekaru. Aneesh had passed out from KPT institute. He was studying at St Aloysius Evening College and was working in the College canteen during the day time.
Eyewitnesses told police that Aneesh while moping the floor came into contact with the live wire and was electrocuted.
The relatives said the canteen was in a dilapidated state and held the officials responsible for the youth’s untimely death.
