Muddebihal, Vijayapura: A youth tied a ‘mangalasutra’ to a minor girl in front of a residential school, video graphed it and shared it on social media in Muddebihal taluk recently.
Two youths have been booked under POCSO Act and Child Marriage Prohibition Act.
The officials concerned have visited the school to take stock of the situation. Parents of the students have expressed their concern over the safety of their wards.
