Committee member G B Somashekarappa said, “We had visited post matric boys hostel at Kanive in Chikkamagaluru and found poor water supply to the hostel. The warden has been warned to make necessary arrangement to set right the problem.”

At the post-matric hostel at Kadur, the toilets were in a pathetic condition and the warden has been asked to set it right.

The stock books were not maintained in order at a minority residential school at Birur. There were no benches for the children at the tribal residential school at Saraswathipura, added the committee member.
