After Trinamool, AAP has announced that the party's MPs will be boycotting the inauguration of the new parliament building on May 28.
After his meeting with West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Kejriwal is heading to Mumbai to meet Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray as he tries to forge a unity of opposition parties against the Centre's ordinance regarding the Delhi services row.
Soon after invites for the inauguration of the Parliament building was announced, the TMC declared that the party will be boycotting the event to protest the Centre's decision to not invite President Droupadi Murmu to inaugurate the building.
Sinha said that because Mamata's party TMC has now lost its national party status, she is bringing leaders from other states to the state to showcase her importance at a national level.
The WB CM added that she will support AAP in its fight against the central ordinance.
'We fear the Central govt might change the Constitution, they might change the name of the country.They don't even respect the Supreme Court verdicts,' she added.
If democracy needs to be saved, the BJP has to be stopped at any cost, the WB CM added.
"Would request all Oppn parties if you have the heart to work together, rally against the BJP. They can now bring ordinances and change everything. You cannot do this only because you have the majority, there are some systems that have to be followed", says Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata.
