Thiruvananthapuram: Amidst the resentment among Congress leaders in Kerala over party MP Shashi Tharoor's praise for the industrial policies of the Left-front government, the opposition Congress-led United Democratic Front has decided to cooperate with the Invest Kerala Global Summit to be held in Kochi on February 21 and 22.

The decision has been taken to ensure that the ongoing row shouldn't give space for the CPI(M) to frame the Congress as anti-development.

"We too want to make Kerala investor-friendly and will give whole-hearted support to all initiatives of the government in this regard. Our objection was against the government's attempts to make exaggerated facts about the industrial growth of the state," opposition leader V D Satheesan said.
