Thiruvananthapuram: Three migrant workers were killed after falling in a tank of a waste treatment plant at Malappuram in Kerala on Wednesday.
The deceased were natives of Assam and Bihar. While one of the workers first fell into the tank, two others died while trying to rescue him.
Local sources identified the deceased as Hitesh, 44, and Vikas, 30, from Bihar and Samad Ali, 21, from Assam.
Around 20 migrant workers are working in the plant at Areekode in Malappuram district. It mostly handles poultry waste.
