Thiruvananthapuram: Two senior prison officials in Kerala suspended for facilitating the meeting of businessman Boby Chemmanur with some of his friends in a prison in Kochi while the latter was kept under remand in the sexual harassment of actor Honey Rose earlier this month.
Deputy Inspector General of Prisons, central zone, P Ajayakumar and Prison Superintendent Raju Abraham were placed under suspension pending inquiry by the state government. A preliminary inquiry found that Ajayakumar took some friends of Chemmanur to the prison and Abraham facilitated their meeting with the businessman violating the prison norms.
