Thiruvananthapuram: In a tit for tat move, a BJP leader in Kerala on Monday filed a missing complaint stating that Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is missing from the constituency.
The move against the AICC general secretary came a day after a Congress activist filed a police complaint alleging that union minister of state for petroleum and BJP maiden MP from Kerala Suresh Gopi is missing.
BJP ST Morcha state president Mukundan Palliyara gave the petition to Wayanad district police chief stating that despite various pressing issues in Wayanad, the MP was not available and hence steps may be taken to trace her.
The silence of Gopi over the arrest of two Malayali nuns in Chhattisgarh and attack on nuns and priests in Odisha had led to a student leader of the Congress filing a missing petition against Gopi.
On Monday Gopi posted a picture of his meeting with officials in Delhi and commented that the meeting was on the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana to be discussed at Rajya Sabha during the day.
