The woman, aged around 30, reportedly survived sexual assault attempt by the owner of the hotel and few other staff, where she is also an employee.

She reportedly jumped off from the first-floor to escape the sexual assault and suffered multiple fractures. She is currently under treatment at the government medical college hospital. The incident allegedly occurred at the place where the hotel staff are staying.

Her relatives on Tuesday released the video footage of the woman screaming and pleading, "please don't do anything." The video footage was said to be from the mobile phone of the survivor who was playing video games when the incident took place.

The relatives alleged that despite having strong evidences, the police were not nabbing the accused, identified as the hotel owner Devadas and two staff.

Kozhikode district rural police chief K E Baiju said that police is trying to nab the accused. "We have already collected evidences. Efforts to nab the accused were going on ever since the sexual assault allegation came up," he said.
