Mumbai: A day after Union Home Minister and BJP’s trouble-shooter Amit Shah met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and his two deputies Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar over lunch in Raigad district to iron out differences, some issues seem to remain in the tripartite MahaYuti-NDA coalition.

On Sunday, Shinde, the chief leader of Shiv Sena had a one-on-one audience with Shah before the latter left for Bhopal while Pawar, the NCP President was in his hometown of Baramati.

However, leaders of the ruling alliance on Sunday said that there are no issues within the alliance.

The issue is mainly between Shiv Sena and NCP over both parties asking for guardian ministership of Raigad and Nashik.

Shiv Sena has accused Pawar, the state Finance and Planning Minister, of sitting in their files.

After his meeting with Shah, Shinde said that he met Shah as the latter was the leader of the NDA.

“Shah is a leader of our NDA and MahaYuti alliance. He was in Raigad yesterday, attended a program in Mumbai, and was here again today. Since he is a leader of our alliance, we had met During our meeting, we discussed and briefed him on the ongoing development projects in the state,” Shinde said, denying any differences.

About Shinde reportedly complaining against him to Shah, Pawar said: “Shah has not asked me anything. Don’t go by what sources say. If Shinde had to say anything, then I don’t think he would complain to Shah. He will either tell Fadnavis or me…our relations are good.”

Meanwhile, BJP MLC Pravin Darekar said that there is no rift among the allies. “We all are together,” he said.

Senior BJP leader and MLA Sudhir Mungantiwar denied there was any issue between the allies.

“Shinde is a matured leader. He would not use such ways to raise complaints before Shah. Shinde is such a leader who will not wait and raise it with Amit Shah. He would directly speak with Pawar,” he said.
