Blasts in industrial unit in Badlapur near Mumbai

Mumbai: A series of blasts were reported from an industrial unit at Badlapur in Thane district, nearly 70 kms away from downtown Mumbai, on Wednesday night. 

Police and fire brigade officials have rushed to the spot. 

The cause of the fire and subsequent explosions is not yet known.
