Tesla CEO and United States President Donald Trump’s senior aide, Elon Musk's mother, Maye Musk is currently visiting Mumbai. Maye Musk, a renowned model and nutrition expert, celebrated her 77th birthday in the city, and the occasion was made memorable when she received a vibrant bouquet of flowers from her son.
Maye Musk posted the update on X, posing with the gorgeous bouquets and wrote, “Thank you @elonmusk for sending these beautiful birthday flowers to me in Mumbai 🇮🇳 Love m(sic)," along with two red heart emojis. In the photo she is seen wearing what appears to be a shimmery Indian wear.
Earlier, Elon Musk wished his mother and wrote, "Love you, Mom. Thanks for everything."
In another social media post Maye said that her three children - Elon Musk, Kimbal Musk, and Tosca Musk - organise an elaborate celebration for her milestone birthdays. She also shared pictures from her previous birthdays.
Maye Musk was born in 1948 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Her modelling career spanned over five decades. She appeared on the covers of magazines such as Vogue, Sports Illustrated, WWD, and Harper’s Bazaar, according to a report by News18.
She also has two Master's degrees in dietetics and nutritional science. As per the publication, University of Toronto awarded her a doctorate in dietetics.
Maye has also written a best selling book about her modelling career titled A Woman Makes a Plan.
Following the recent talks between Elon Musk and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Maye shared the PM's post with heart eyes emoji and the Indian tricolour.
A day after the call, Elon Musk said he was planning to visit India later in the year.
"I am looking forward to visiting India later this year!", Musk wrote in a post on his X social media platform.
