Mumbai: Son of senior leader of the Shiv Sena and former minister Tanaji Sawant, who was reported missing, returned to Pune on Monday night.
Sawant's son Rishiraj returned to Pune along with 2 friends after taking a flight to Bangkok, police said.
Sawant (60), who hails from the Madha tehsil of Solapur district, was a water conservation minister in the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi government and health and public welfare minister in the Eknath Shinde-led MahaYuti dispensation.
Rishiraj was last seen at the Pune airport before he was declared missing and a search was underway.
