Founder and Chairman of Mumbai-based tech firm Vakrangee Limited, Dinesh Nandwana (62), died during a search being conducted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) at his premises in Andheri (East).
In a social media post, the tech company shared the news about Nandwana's death.
The post read, "Vakrangee deeply mourns the passing of Shri Dinesh Nandwana Ji, Founder & Chairman Emeritus of Vakrangee Ltd. We honor his visionary leadership, unwavering dedication, and profound wisdom."
According to media reports, the Jalandhar unit of Enforcement Directorate was carrying out raids at various locations as a part of an ongoing probe.
Nandwana developed health complications during the search operation which led to his death.
The MIDC police have registered an accidental death report complaint over Nandwana's death.
The police have also said that the cause of the Chairman's death will be known only after a post mortem of his body is carried out, according to multiple media reports.
According to a report by Hindustan Times, ED sources said that there has been no foul play involved in the 62-year-old's death.
The source also claimed that Nandwana had a history of cardiac problems.
