Mumbai, DHNS: Nagpur-based journalist Prashant Koratkar, who was accused of making derogatory remarks against Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and issuing threats to historian Indrajit Sawant, was attacked by lawyers in the Kolhapur court even as his custody was extended by two days.
Earlier this week, Koratkar was arrested in Telangana and brought to Kolhapur, where the office was registered.
Koratkar was remanded to three days' custody and, on expiry of the custod,y was produced before the court on Friday when the incident took place.
The court has extended his custodial remand by two days.
