The conference is scheduled for January 15, 2026, in Mumbai, followed by a field visit and live cultivation demonstration on January 16, 2026, at Nandur Shingote village in Sinnar tehsil in Nashik district.

The theme of the conference is "From Broccoli Cultivation to Your Health".

Special emphasis will be placed on broccoli farming, production, food technology, and its health benefits.

Broccoli is rich in numerous nutrients such as potassium, fiber, powerful antioxidants like sulforaphane, vitamin C, vitamin K, and chlorophyll.

These components help in controlling blood pressure, combating heart disease, cancer, and diabetes, boosting immunity, reducing inflammation, detoxifying the body, controlling cholesterol, promoting gut health, and supporting bone and skin health. Broccoli also possesses anti-cancer properties.

The conference will feature special guidance from gynecologists on the unique benefits of broccoli for women's health.

Additionally, an awareness campaign and special recipe competition will be organized on how to incorporate broccoli into delicious Indian dishes.

Renowned Master Chef Sanjeev Kapoor will provide guidance on the healthy use of broccoli and award the winners of the competition.

Discussions will also cover the future of broccoli as a superfood. In addition to fresh broccoli, processed products such as broccoli powder (for soups, smoothies, sauces) and frozen cubes (for convenient meals) will also be highlighted.

Cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth will speak about the importance of broccoli in diet and fitness.

Javier Bernabeu from Spain, pioneer of the broccoli revolution, will be the chief guest.
