Days before the crucial I.N.D.I.A meeting, a delegation of the top leadership of the Maha Vikas Agahdi met Mumbai Police chief Vivek Phansakar to discuss the security and traffic  arrangements.

More than 80 leaders including chief ministers, former chief ministers, party chiefs would be attending the two-day meeting scheduled on 31 August-1 September at Grand Hyatt Hotel at Vakola in Santacruz in Mumbai. 

The delegation comprised of Maharashtra Congress Working President Naseem Khan, Leader of the Opposition in Council Ambadas Danve, NCP Working President and Lok Sabha member Supriya Sule, Rajya Sabha member Anil Desai, Mumbai Congress President Prof Varsha Gaikwad,  former MP Sanjay Nirupam and former minister Satej Patil among others. 

The meeting was held at the Mumbai police commissionerate in south Mumbai. 

The MVA leadership in Mumbai is regularly meeting in Mumbai to work out the logistics and review the arrangements.
