Urging Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and the Pune Police Commissioner to take immediate action, Supriya Sule on Saturday revealed that for the past few days, NCP (SP)'s spokesperson Vikas Lawande has been receiving hundreds of threats.
In a post on X, Sule said that these people who have been issuing death threats claim to be followers of Sambhaji Bhide Guruji.
"Despite filing a complaint with detailed evidence to the state Chief Minister and Pune City Police in this regard, no action has been taken against anyone yet," she alleged in her post.
She also shared that on the evening of March 1, a group of 250 to 300 youths from outside had gone to Vikas Lawande's village in Haveli taluka with the intention of creating terror at his house.
"At that time, the local police were informed and police security was provided in the village, thus a major disaster was averted," she said, adding that even yesterday an unknown caller threatened Lawande.
