Navi Mumbai: In line with his commitment to boost India’s cultural heritage, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Sri Sri Radha Madanmohanji Temple, an ISKCON project in Kharghar in the satellite township of Navi Mumbai.
The project, spread over nine acres, includes a temple with several deities, a Vedic education centre, proposed museums and auditorium, healing center, among others.
It aims to promote universal brotherhood, peace, and harmony through Vedic teachings.
During the inaugural function on January 15, Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis would also be present.
The temple is designed to be an oasis of spirituality with exquisite architecture, serene surroundings, and multiple facilities such as: Bhaktivedanta College of Vedic Education, Ayurvedic Healing Centre, Gaushala and community outreach initiatives like Food for Life programmes.
The Sri Sri Radha Madanmohanji Temple embodies the vision of ISKCON founder-Acharya Abhay Charanaravinda Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, serving as a spiritual sanctuary for all.
