Armoured Corps Centre and School, Ahmednagar has started training Agniveers under the new Agnipath scheme. The scheme came into effect on Jan 1, 2023.
Agniveers will receive intensive scenario-based practical training as part of the Agnipath programme.
This training will include physical training, drill, marksmanship, common military knowledge, tactical acumen in basic tactics, unarmed combat, and situational awareness.
This training will be followed by advanced military training in their respective trades. The Agniveers trained at Armoured Corps Centre and School will be effectively trained.
After successful completion of the training, the Agniveers will be attested as young soldiers and will join various regiments of the Armoured Corps to serve the nation.
