An elderly passenger died of heart attack on a Lufthansa flight which landed in the city in the wee hours today, airline sources said, PTI reports from Mumbai.
Charanjit Singh Anand was in his mid-60s and was travelling from Frankfurt to the city, they said.
The Frankfurt-Mumbai flight (LH-756) landed in the city airport at around 1.20 am.
In a statement, the airline said, "Lufthansa confirms that on flight LH756 from Frankfurt to Mumbai, one of the passengers suffered a heart attack. Our feelings are with the family of the passenger."
The body was sent to the city-based Cooper Hospital for autopsy, it said.
