In a big blow to the outlawed CPI (Maoist) organisation its Central Committee member Ginugu Narsimha Reddy alias Rajesh, known as Jampanna (55) and his wife Hinge Anitha alias Rajitha (37) a divisional committee member surrendered before Mahender Reddy, DGP, Telangana Police here on Monday.
Jampanna, a resident of Cherlapalem village in Mahabubabad district is involved in more than hundred cases across India, including 51 in Telangana.
He was instrumental in attacking Wazeedu police station at Jayashanker Bhupalpally district, in which six people were killed.
Jampanna carries a reward of Rs 25 lakh and his wife carries a reward of Rs 5 lakh. This reward will be given to them and also all measures will be taken to rehabilitate them.
