The silent auction is being organised by the students of Delhi University’s Faculty of Management Studies for the last four years. The auction saw students chipping in with items as diverse as old books to collection of movies. The buyers are, of course, from the student community itself.

The proceeds from the auction will be used to buy cycle rickshaws which will be given to poor rickshawpullers across the city, Daya, President of ‘Vihaan’ (FMS social wing), said.

Part of the money will be used for preparing career counselling booklets and spreading awareness on career options for 9-12 class students in slums of Delhi and villages of Rajasthan and Haryana.
