Pawar, in a statement relased on Twitter, has thanked NCP leaders for attending today's meeting. He reiterated his confidence in the Election Commission in regard to the NCP name and symbol dispute. He also added, "Those who have gone on the wrong path after getting the votes of the people will have to pay the price. The situation in Maharashtra will change. There the Congress, Nationalist Congress, Shiv Sena organization led by Uddhav Thackeray, the people of Maharashtra will give full rule in their hands."

Ajit Pawar declared himself NCP chief before EC two days prior to split
