The zoo doctors, who conducted the post-mortem on the tigress, said she had a blockage in intestine. The zoo, which boasted of the only white tigress, is now left with a Royal Bengal tigress - Sita.
Tejaswani was brought to Patna from Delhi in 2005. The ten-years old tigress was recently considered fit for breeding and the zoo officials were preparing to bring a white tiger from outside to start the project so that the population of white tiger could be increased.
But, four days back, Tejaswani started showing symptoms of drowsiness.
