Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh had moved the notice against Shah for 'casting aspersions' on Congress Parliamentary Party head Sonia Gandhi. In another development, Lok Sabha passed the Immigration and Foreigners Bill, 2025 on Thursday, with HM Amit Shah asserting that those who come to India for business, education and investment are welcome, but those who pose a threat to security will face stringent action. Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha discussed the Finance Bill, 2025 and returned it to Lok Sabha. Both the Houses were adjourned for the day. Track DH for the latest updates from Parliament.
