Workers of powerloom industry are staring at losses amid COVID-19 pandemic. They are on strike demanding waiving off electricity bills till December.
A worker said, “We're bearing huge losses due to COVID-19, how'll we pay the bills? Electricity rates in 2006 were lower than now, we want those rates back from January.”
