Popular religious leader Premanand Maharaj grabbed attention on social media after a video of him riding in a luxury car went viral.
The video shows the spiritual leader greeting the public from inside a black Porsche as many of his aides and cops were seen walking alongside the luxury car.
Many on social media criticised Premanand Mahara saying that while the religious leader preaches simplicity, he is seen riding luxury cars.
However, many of his followers also jumped in the debate saying that the guru does not own any such vehicles, and it is his followers who often offer their cars for his to travel.
Although the clip has the date 04/04/2025, DH could not independently verify the authenticity of the video.
Premanand Maharaj has a huge follower base that reportedly includes celebrities like Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma.
