Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday sniped at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not holding any press conference since 2014 after assuming the high office.

Gandhi took to Twitter to criticise the prime minister hours after addressing a press conference in Bengaluru along with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and top state Congress leaders as curtains came down on the campaign for Saturday’s assembly elections.

The Congress president also said that he will interact with the media frequently.

“Enjoyed meeting the regional and national press today in Bengaluru. We had a packed house! I’m sorry not everyone got a chance to ask a question due to the paucity of time. But, unlike our PM who hasn’t had a press conference in 4 years, I will be doing many more of these,” Gandhi said.
