The Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) received several brief spells of rain on Saturday after a week's break.

However, road, rail and air traffic remained unaffected. Besides, there were fewer people outdoors in view of the Eid holiday.

According to the forecast by the IMD's Regional Meteorological Centre, rain or thundershower is likely to occur at most places over Konkan-Goa, at a few places over South Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, South Gujarat Region and Saurashtra for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
