Rajasthani weddings are meant to epitmose the so-called 'Big Fat Indian Weddings' and a bride from the state was subject to the an experience of a lifetime.
The groom went the extra mile during the bride’s vidaai which is the traditional bidding of farewell to the girl.
In an unexpected twist, drawing inspiration from the Hollywood film Fifty Shades of Grey, the groom brought the bride back home in a chopper.
In may be recalled that in the movie, the male protagonist takes the girl on a scenic chopper ride to win her heart.
As per media reports, this unconventionally breathtaking experience left the bride stunned with all the wedding guests surprised.
The groom later told local media that the helicopter ride was a decision taken in consultation with the entire family, aimed at celebrating the occasion in a unique way and inspiring others in the village to dream bigger.
His bride expressed heartfelt gratitude, admitting she never imagined her journey to her new home would take place in the sky.
Social media went bonkers over the incident with a video showing the bride radiant with joy as she takes in the scenic view before her becoming viral in the Internet.
The video posted on Instagram was captioned “Christian Grey of Rajasthan”, referring the protagonist of the movie.
The video was also a depiction of an Indian version of the romantic movie scene.
For the records, this is not the first time that this kind of a thing has happened in India.
A similar incident took place in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, when a farmer made the news after bringing his son’s bride back home in a chopper.
