Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) spokesperson T K S Elangovan on April 11 clarified the reason behind appealing to the Supreme Court against the Madras High Court order allowing route marches by RSS in the state. He said that RSS is a barbaric group.
Elangovan said, “When they (RSS) will take out the procession, they will throw stones at the mosque. They will trouble the Muslims over there. RSS is a barbaric group. They have proved this time and again…All these will be considered by the government. This is the reason why the government did not want RSS procession.”
The Supreme Court on April 11 rejected the Tamil Nadu government's appeal against the Madras HC order allowing route marches by RSS in the state.
