A RSS worker was hacked to death at Palakkad district in Kerala on Monday.

Sanjith, 27, a local leader of RSS at Kinaserry in Palakkad was murdered in front of his wife.

While the police said that prima faice it was a political murder, BJP leaders alleged that workers of SDPI, which is the political outfit of the Popular Front of India, murdered Sanjith.

Sanjith was riding a motorcycle with his wife on the pillion to drop her at office in the morning. The accused came in a car and knocked down Sanjith and hacked him to death. There were four members in the gang.

BJP state president K Surendran said that the SDPI was getting the support of the ruling CPI(M) and the police.

Local BJP leaders said that Sanjith faced attacks and threats from SDPI workers earlier. BJP observed a hartal in the Malampuzha region in protest against the accused.
