Prominent Ayodhya-based Hindu seer Mahant Paramhans Das on Friday offered 'puja' before his own ''pyre'' and threatened to immolate himself if the Centre failed to make law for the Ram Temple construction.
''I will immolate myself on the forthcoming Babri demolition anniversary on December 6, 2018, if the government failed to make law for the temple construction before that time,'' the mahant said in Ayodhya.
Paramhans Das had recently embarked on an indefinite fast to press for his demand but was forcibly admitted to the hospital by the police and fed.
