Unidentified criminals shot dead senior BJP leader and party vice-president of Bihar unit Visheshwar Ojha in Ara on Friday. According to reports reaching here, the miscreants pumped nearly 15 bullets into his body. Ojha died on the spot.
The BJP has issued an ultimatum to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar asking him to get the miscreants arrested within 72 hours or else the Opposition would launch a massive agitation over deteriorating law and order.
The incident took place at a time when Nitish was reviewing law and order situation in the state in a meeting with top police officials.
The second political killing comes exactly a week after another leader Brijnathi Singh was shot dead near Fatuha in Patna last Friday.
