The money borrowed by Jet Airways was misused by its founder Naresh Goyal for “personal gains and enrichment”, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Saturday told a court here while seeking his custody in a case of an alleged Rs 538 crore loan fraud, registered on a complaint filed by Canara Bank. Canada has paused negotiations for a free trade agreement with India and now both the countries will mutually decide about resuming the talks in the future, an official said. "The Canadian side conveyed that they were taking a pause in India-Canada negotiations on the Early Progress Trade Agreement. This will enable us both to take stock of progress and next steps. We will decide by mutual agreement when negotiations will resume," the official told PTI.

A towering statue of 'Nataraja', believed to be the world's tallest, being installed at the venue of the upcoming G20 Summit here, is expected to gather a huge crowd. This statue, which is 28-foot tall including the pedestal, was made using the ancient lost-wax technique of metal casting that was used for making the famed Chola bronzes, sources said. (PTI)
