J M Sripad Naik, Lok Sabha (LS) MP from Goa, has also been appointed secretary of the parliamentary party.
Another LS MP from Karnataka, M Siddeshwar, continues to be the treasurer.
The BJP has already appointed senior leader Sushma Swaraj as the deputy leader of the Opposition in the LS and Arun Jaitley as the leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha.
